Fort Peck Test Release Draft EIS

The draft EIS identifies and compares several alternatives and outlines in detail, the preferred alternative for assessing test flow capacity from Fort Peck Dam, to promote growth and survival of federally endangered pallid sturgeon during the free swimming juvenile stage prior to their settling out in the headwaters of Lake Sakakawea. Public comment period closes May 25, 2021. Draft Environmental Assessment - Council Bluffs Riverfront Project

The proposed project involves improvements to areas north and south of Tom Hanafan Park in Council Bluffs, referred to as River’s Edge North and River’s Edge South, respectively, to improve public access to the Missouri River riverfront in Council Bluffs, to enhance the riverfront with a variety of active recreational spaces, and to create riverfront recreation that will draw people from western Iowa and eastern Nebraska.

Draft EA - Section 595, Big Timber Creek Bank Stabilization, Sweet Grass County, MT

The draft EA evaluates the impacts of placing approximately 150 linear feet of riprap rock revetment along the left (east) bank of the Big Timber Creek to stabilize an actively eroding bank that is imminently threatening Wormser Loop Road and causing sedimentation issues within Big Timber Creek, an important surface water resource for communities in Sweet Grass County, MT.

Ramberg to Mandan Pipeline - Lake Sakakawea Crossing Draft Environmental Assessment

Expiration date: 3/24/2021

A draft environmental assessment has been developed to determine the environmental impacts of completing maintenance and stabilization activities to prevent damage to an existing crude oil pipeline, which was constructed in the 1950s, due to erosion from wave, wind and ice action. The proposed project would utilize riprap and grout bags to provide appropriate depth of cover (48 inches) and stabilization to approximately 1,375 linear feet of existing pipeline.

Draft Letter Report/Programmatic EA - Federal Participation in Watercraft Inspection Stations

Expiration date: 3/2/2021

A draft integrated letter report and programmatic environmental assessment has been developed to determine the economic and environmental impacts of Federal participation in state-managed watercraft inspection programs along the Upper Missouri River Basin in Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Nebraska.
