Summary: The draft EA evaluates the impacts of rehabilitating components of the sanitary sewer system including mains, services and manholes using open trench and trenchless installation depending on the condition of the streets. In addition to the sanitary sewer system, the perforated storm sewer system would be extended and a gravity outlet would be installed on the west side of town which would eliminate the existing storm sewer lift station. This would reduce operation and maintenance and pumping costs for the City and for residents in these areas that have sump pumps that constantly run due to the high-water table.
