A draft environmental assessment has been developed to determine the environmental impacts of completing
maintenance and stabilization activities to prevent damage to an existing crude oil pipeline, which was constructed
in the 1950s, due to erosion from wave, wind and ice action. The proposed project would utilize riprap and grout bags to provide appropriate depth of cover (48 inches) and stabilization to approximately 1,375 linear feet of existing pipeline.
