Halligan Water Supply Project Final Environmental Impact Statement published
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District has published the Final Environmental Impact Statement for the proposed City of Fort Collins Halligan Water Supply Project. The Final Conceptual Mitigation Plan and its state approved Fish and Wildlife Mitigation and Enhancement Plan are included in the EIS as appendices.

Army Corps of Engineers seeks public comments on proposal to renew and revise nationwide permits
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announced today it is seeking comments on its proposal to renew and revise 52 nationwide permits for work in wetlands and other waters that are regulated by Section 404 of the Clean Water Act and/or Section 10 of the Rivers and Harbors Act of 1899. In addition, USACE is proposing to issue five new nationwide permits that pertain to authorizing seaweed mariculture activities, finfish mariculture activities, electric utility line and telecommunications activities, utility line activities for water and other substances, and water reclamation and reuse facilities.

Halligan Water Supply Project draft environmental impact statement published
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District has published in the federal register the Draft Environmental Impact Statement and conceptual mitigation plan for the Halligan Water Supply Project, a water supply project located in Larimer County, Colorado, proposed by the City of Fort Collins Utilities.

Corps finalizes the Adams & Denver Counties, Colorado General Investigation Study
Lt. Gen. Todd T. Semonite, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Commanding General and 54th U.S. Army Chief of Engineers, signed the recommended plan to implement flood risk management solutions along Weir Gulch and Harvard Gulch in Adams and Denver County, Colorado, and restore aquatic, wetland, and riparian habitat along the South Platte River.

Final Environmental Impact Statement for the Northern Integrated Supply Project available for public review
The Final Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the Northern Integrated Supply Project (NISP) is now available for public review. The project, coordinated by the Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District, seeks to provide approximately 40,000 acre-feet each year from a new municipal water supply. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is neither a proponent nor an opponent of the proposed project.

Denver Regulatory Office to hold Program Workshop for the Public
The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District, Denver Regulatory Office will hold a Regulatory Program Workshop on Wednesday, May 24. Depending on demand, an additional workshop could be held on Thursday, May 25. Each workshop will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Denver Regulatory/Tri Lakes Office on Chatfield Reservoir, located at 9307 South Wadsworth Boulevard, Littleton, Colorado.
