The Missouri River Recovery Implementation Committee (MRRIC) will hold its 39th meeting in Kansas City, Missouri, Oct. 31-Nov. 2, 2017. South Platte ecosystem restoration alternatives to be discussed at public meeting in Denver

Draft EA for Big Goose Creek levee repairs in Sheridan, Wyoming available for public comment

A draft environmental assessment for levee repairs along the right descending bank of Big Goose Creek in Sheridan, Wyoming is currently available for public review. The draft EA evaluates the environmental impacts of repairing damage to the levee caused by high flows in June 2017. Comments must be postmarked or received no later than November 6, 2017. Public meeting scheduled on Miles City, Montana flood risk management feasibility study

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, in cooperation with the Custer County-Miles City Steering Committee and KLJ, will hold a public meeting from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at the Miles Community College (Rooms 106 & 107), 2715 Dickinson Street in Miles City, Montana. The purpose of the meeting is to gather input on the recently initiated feasibility study to address flood risk along the Yellowstone and Tongue Rivers within Miles City. [Read More]

Omaha District works late to complete $1 billion program
