The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District, (USACE) is evaluating a permit application to stabilize the bank of the West Gallatin River, which would result in permanent impacts to approximately 1,580 LF of riverbank and 0.52 acre of riverbed as well as temporary impacts to 0.09 acre of wetlands during construction. This notice is to inform interested parties of the proposed activity and to solicit comments.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District, (Corps) is evaluating a request by Montana Aquatic Resources Services (MARS) to add an In-Lieu Fee (ILF) compensatory mitigation site to the Program’s Instrument, updated in December 2021. The Proposed Site Plan (Plan) is the first phase of mitigation site evaluation. It is intended to determine whether the site has enough potential to warrant development of a more detailed Draft Mitigation Site plan. This notice is to inform interested parties of the proposed activity and to solicit comments. The proposed mitigation site would cover the Lower Clark Fork #3 Watershed.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District, (Corps) is evaluating a permit application to construct the First Creek Channel Improvements between 26th Avenue to 38th Avenue Project, which would result in the discharge of approximately 75,099 cubic yards of onsite fill, soil riprap, sheet pile, and sculpted concrete fill material into 5.1 acres of waters of the United States, including wetlands adjacent to First Creek.
