Power plant tour schedule changes at Garrison Dam

Power plant tours at the Garrison Dam in Riverdale are offered to the public via walk-in and upon scheduled request. Due to increased security, visitors for powerhouse tours should arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the tour and visitors over 18 years old must show a government issued photo ID. RIVERDALE, N.D. - Power plant tour schedules at the Garrison Dam in Riverdale, N.D., have been adjusted for the remainder of 2013.

Walk-in tours are offered Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays Memorial Weekend through August 16, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Central Time.

However, walk-in tours have been cancelled for July 26 and 27 due to limited staffing.

Additionally, tours by scheduled appointment have been cancelled for the remainder of 2013.
