Garrison Dam East Tailrace access road closure

The East Tailrace access road will be closed today, May 13, 2013 until the fall of 2013 for the construction of a new switchyard for the Garrison Dam Powerplant. The East Tailrace can be accessed using the Tailrace Boat Ramp Road and the upper parking lot. Detour signs will be set up to show the new access route. A new East Tailrace access road will be constructed in the future around the south side of the new switchyard.
