YANKTON, S.D. – The Audubon Bend area will be closed until further notice due to extensive flood damage.
Audubon Bend, managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, is located along the Missouri River near Wynot, Nebraska. Recent heavy rains and flooding have caused widespread damage to roadways and cut channels throughout the property. Conditions are hazardous for anyone attempting to drive in the area. No vehicles will be allowed beyond restrictive barricades.
