Omaha, Neb. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Omaha District will be conducting structure assessments in and around Miles City, Montana from August 14 – 18, 2017 as part of a collaborative flood risk management study with the city. Information gathered during the assessments will include structure location and type and approximate structure foundation height. This information will be used by the Omaha District and the city of Miles City to determine the community’s risk of flooding and develop solutions to reduce the risk. Assessments will be conducted from the street.
The public will have opportunities to comment on the results of the assessments and the on-going study at future public meetings.
