    The District Engineer is evaluating a permit application from Investcore, Inc. for residential development(s), including a new elementary school, east of Bismarck, North Dakota referred to as Silver Ranch 2nd and 3rd Additions. Fills associated with the developments(s) would impact approximately 1.86 acres of waters of the United States. On-site mitigation is being proposed of offset the impacts. The impacts would occur in various locations on the property, which is located in the S½ of Section 18 and the NE¼ of Section 19, Township 139 North, range 80 West, Burleigh County, North Dakota. The aquatic resource being affected is a tributary to Hay Creek. [Latitude 46.853935° North, Longitude -100.698121° West]

    Expiration date: 3/12/2021

    The District Engineer, through the North Dakota Regulatory Office, is evaluating a site plan submitted by the North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) for the Koenig Mitigation Bank Site (Site). The site is being proposed as an addendum to NDDOTs Umbrella Mitigation Bank Program that was established in 2013 to provide compensatory mitigation for projects requiring authorization under Section 404 of the Clean Water Act. The site is 280.6 acres and is situated on an active farm eight miles NE of Woodworth in the W ½ of Section 28, Township 143 North, Range 67 West, Stutsman County, North Dakota. NDDOT estimates the site would generate 32.32 credits that would be achieved through a combination of restoration, preservation, buffers and uplands. The Regional Service Area serviced by this site would be the Missouri River Basin Southern Zone.

  • Omaha District Special Public Notice for Final Federal Register Publication

    On January 13, 2021, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) published a final rule in the Federal Register (86 FR 2744) announcing the reissuance of 12 existing nationwide permits (NWPs) and four new NWPs, as well as the reissuance of NWP general conditions and definitions with some modifications. These 16 NWPs will go into effect on March 15, 2021, and will expire on March 14, 2026.
