  • Draft EA - Ramberg to Mandan and Berthold Pipeline system maintenance project, Little Missouri River near Lake Sakakawea, North Dakota

    The draft EA analyzes environmental impacts of completing maintenance and stabilization activities to prevent damage to two existing crude oil pipelines, the Ramberg to Mandan and Berthold Pipelines, due to erosion from wave, wind and ice action of the Little Missouri River in Dunn County, N.D. The Ramberg-Mandan pipeline extends from Ramberg Station (south of Tioga) to the refinery in Mandan, N.D. and the Berthold pipeline extends from the Johnson’s Corner area (east of Watford City) to Dunn Center Station (east of Dunn Center, N.D.).

    The draft EA evaluates the impacts of placing approximately 150 linear feet of riprap rock revetment along the left (east) bank of the Big Timber Creek to stabilize an actively eroding bank that is imminently threatening Wormser Loop Road and causing sedimentation issues within Big Timber Creek, an important surface water resource for communities in Sweet Grass County, MT.

  • Draft EA - Water Treatment Improvements, Whitehall, MT

    Expiration date: 8/15/2020

    The draft EA evaluates a proposal to improve an existing city building to accommodate the installation of a new ion exchange water treatment system to address uranium in the water supply. The project would also include making improvements to an existing water tank and distribution system. The purpose of the project is to provide clean drinking water to the residents of Whitehall by removing excess levels of arsenic and uranium.

  • Draft EA - Sorenson Water Intake Project (White Horse, LLC)

    Expiration date: 6/26/2020

    The draft EA evaluates the use of surplus water and the environmental impacts of constructing an industrial water intake to allow 1,000 acre-feet (maximum withdrawal rate of 2,100 gallons per minute) to be used by White Horse Water, LLC for oil and gas development.
