Summary: The proposed project includes improving the current wastewater system in order to provide reliable service to residents of Plentywood, MT. Proposed improvements include replacing approximately 25,000 linear feet of existing deteriorated clay tile and concrete pipe with new PVC pipe through conventional excavation and open cut pipe techniques where unsuitable grade exists. A majority of the repair would be completed using Cast in-Place Pipe (CIPP) trenchless technology. CIPP installation method simply means placing PVC pipe inside the existing clay/concrete pipes without excavating surfaces.
