Summary: The purpose of the proposed project is to modify two levee systems in order to meet FEMA certification and accreditation standards and continue eligibility in the Corps’ PL 84-99 Emergency Levee Rehabilitation Program. Modifications would include levee raises, construction of a concrete T-wall, closure structure replacement, seepage berms, drainage structures and channel improvements.

Geographic Scope: R-616-613 (9.7-mile segment located along the right bank of the Missouri River and the left bank of Papillion Creek) and R-613 (an 8.8-mile levee segment located along the right bank of the Missouri River across from R-616-613), Sarpy County, Nebraska
