The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District, (Corps) is evaluating a permit application to construct the Lincoln West Beltway project, which would result in the discharge of fill material into approximately 3 acres of waters of the United States, including wetlands. This notice is to inform interested parties of the proposed activity and to solicit comments. The applicant is proposing to improve all at-grade intersections along US-77. The intersections of Pioneers Boulevard and Warlick Boulevard with Denton Road and US-77 will be converted to full access interchanges. The intersections of Old Cheney Road and Yankee Hill Road will have access to US-77 removed. Additional work will consist of paving, ramp work, shoulder work, guardrail, side road construction, traffic signals, driveway reconstruction, curb and gutter work, storms sewer work, roadway culvert work, utilities, sidewalk construction, overhead lighting, fencing, striping, and erosion control. Grading will be required for this Project. This work would result in the discharge of fill material into approximately 3 acres of waters of the United States, including wetlands.
