The District Engineer (Omaha) is evaluating a request by North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) to add the Ward County I Wetland Mitigation Bank Site (Site) to their Program Instrument approved in June 2013. The Site consists of 38.1 acres located approximately 11.8 miles south and 2.2 miles east of Minot, North Dakota in SW¼ of Section 32, Township 153 North, Range 82 West, Latitude 48.024280° North, Longitude -101.245730° West, Ward County, North Dakota. NDDOT estimates that the Site would generate 25.6 credits. Credits would be achieved primarily through restoration, with added credit for buffers, and uplands. The Regional Service Area for the Site would be the Souris River Basin Southern Zone.
