U.S. ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS, OMAHA DISTRICT, COLORADO REGULATORY OFFICE
Published Feb. 23, 2024
Expiration date: 3/21/2024

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District, (Corps) is evaluating a proposal by Water and Land Solutions to establish a stream and wetland mitigation bank in Larimer County, Colorado. The proposed North Fork Poudre Mitigation Bank would be a private stream and wetland mitigation bank which would allow the bank sponsor to develop and utilize stream and wetland credits within a defined service area. Stream and wetland credits would be created through the restoration (re-establishment), enhancement, and preservation of wetlands adjacent to the North Fork of the Cache la Poudre River. The stream and wetland mitigation credits could be used to offset compensatory mitigation requirements associated with unavoidable impacts to waters of the United States authorized by Department of the Army (DA) permit requirements. This notice is to inform interested parties of the proposed activity and to solicit comments.
