OMAHA DISTRICT, WYOMING REGULATORY PROGRAM
Published May 31, 2023
Expiration date: 6/21/2023

RGP-2302-RWY

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps), Omaha District proposes to issue Regional General Permit (RGP) 2302 for discharges of dredged or fill material into irrigation ditches and wetlands that have minimal individual or cumulative adverse effects on the aquatic environment but that do not qualify for the Clean Water Act section 404(f)(1)(C) exemption because of the recapture provision at section 404(f)(2) (see 33 CFR 323.4) or do not qualify for a Nationwide General permit. This permit is applicable to all jurisdictional waters of the United States within the State of Wyoming including, but not limited to, rivers, creeks, ditches, lakes, ponds, reservoirs, and wetlands. Certain waterways and aquatic resource types are given special consideration. The Corps proposes to reissue this RGP for a period of five (5) years.

The purpose of this public notice is to inform the public, Indian Tribes, Federal, state and local agencies/officials, and other interested parties of a 21-day comment period in which written comments may be submitted to the Corps. Written comments must be postmarked by June 21, 2023 prior to closure of the public notice administrative record.
