The City of David City is proposing to improve a stretch of County Road 37, an existing gravel road to a paved roadway corridor. These improvements include paving and widening the roadway to accommodate a hybrid two-lane/three-lane roadway with an overpass above the railroad track crossing. The hybrid roadway construction will begin at the intersection of Nebraska State Highway 15 (Highway 15) and Road 37 (Figures 1 & 2). The overpass will accommodate increased truck traffic due to future developments along Road 37.
