The City of Sioux Falls is requesting authorization to discharge dredged and fill material into waters of the United States (regulated waters) in association with the construction of the Basin 371 Drainage Improvement Project. Basin 371 is a 1,410-acre storm water catchment located in the western portion of the City of Sioux Falls. Storm water runoff from Basin 371 is managed by a storm water system that includes three open channels and a central detention facility (Sertoma Pond). Approximately 16 acres of regulated waters are in the project area.
