A pre-race peek at the finish line. Chamberlain said the Boston race volunteers and the people of Boston were very kind and treated runners better than royalty, like a son or brother. After his run, volunteers were patting him on the back, asking if he needed anything, congratulating him, thanking him for helping to take Boston back. It was an unforgettable experience.
