The 2014 Boston Marathon was about many different things for many people. It represents runners and Americans taking back the race. Before the race, runners had a moment of silence for the fallen from the year before. The military flew over the starting line. For Chamberlain, the race also represents not giving up on a dream when the chips are down. He fought a very painful injury and came close to quitting several times except but some very special people kept him going.
