On Sept. 13, 2024, a Change of Command ceremony was conducted in which Lt. Gen. William H. "Butch" Graham Jr. assumed command of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers from Lt. Gen. Scott Spellmon. The event included a promotion ceremony for now-Lt. Gen. Graham and a retirement ceremony in honor of Lt. Gen. Spellmon. The ceremonies were hosted by U.S. Army Chief of Staff Gen. Randy A. Flood Repairs along the Missouri River
The plunge pool repair contractor at Fort Peck, Mont., continues to work on slope excavation on east and west sides of the spillway. Horizontal anchor drilling has begun. The gate repair is scheduled for completion in early 2015. The plunge pool repair is scheduled for completion in December 2015.
