Corps, Hamburg sign first ever Section 1176 agreement allowing raise of Ditch 6 levee system
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District Commander Col. Mark Himes signs a Section 1176 project agreement Tuesday that will allow the District to raise the Hamburg Ditch 6 levee eight feet, significantly increasing the flood risk management benefits the levee provides to the city.
