The Omaha District provides Regulatory (Section 404 and Section 10) oversight for all or part of six states below. The Omaha District Section 408 program oversees alterations to USACE civil works projects within the Omaha District civil works area of responsibility.

The Omaha District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) has received an application from SPOT Hwy 100 LLC for a Department of the Army permit pursuant to Section 404 of the Clean Water Act (33 U.S.C. §1344) and/or Section 10 of the Rivers and Harbors Act of 1899 (33 U.S.C. §403). The purpose of this public notice is to solicit comments from the public regarding the work described below. The project would affect waters of the United States associated with a tributary of the Big Sioux River. The project/review area is located on the SW side of the intersection of East 57th Street and Powder House Road/Veterans Parkway in Section 8, Township 100N, Range 49W; at Latitude 43.4984 and Longitude -96.6526; in Sioux Falls, Lincoln County, South Dakota. The overall project purpose is to build a commercial development to provide jobs and retail shopping opportunities in a city-designated “Sub-regional Employment Center” per the Shape Sioux Falls 2040 plan.
