Corps of Engineers awards $8.5 million contract for breach closure on Missouri River levee L601
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District, awarded an $8.5 million contract Wednesday to close a breach in the L601 levee along the Missouri River near river mile 583, northwest of Bartlett, in Mills County Iowa.

Campers now able to reserve sites at USACE Lakes in the Black Hills
Visitors wishing to enjoy nights under the stars at either Cottonwood Springs or Cold Brook Lake will now be able to reserve campsites up to and including the day of arrival through recreation.gov.

Jamestown and Pipestem Reservoirs Update
Inflows to Jamestown Reservoir due to snowmelt have remained higher than expected. As a result, reservoir water releases will increase to 600 cubic-feet-per-second on April 22. Pipestem Reservoir is currently at a pool elevation 1467.9 feet which is approximately 30% of the reservoir’s capacity.
