Halligan Water Supply Project draft environmental impact statement published
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District has published in the federal register the Draft Environmental Impact Statement and conceptual mitigation plan for the Halligan Water Supply Project, a water supply project located in Larimer County, Colorado, proposed by the City of Fort Collins Utilities.

Public meeting scheduled to discuss recently released Papillion Creek Basin draft feasibility report
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, in cooperation with the Papio-Missouri River Natural Resources District, will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 3 at the University of Nebraska-Omaha to gather input on the recently released draft feasibility report for the Papillion Creek General Re-evaluation study.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is incrementally increasing releases from Jamestown and Pipestem Dams for the next several days as the cities of Jamestown and LaMoure, North Dakota, prepare for higher flows.

Warm Weather Leads to Increasing releases from Jamestown, Pipestem Dams
Starting today, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will increase the releases from Jamestown and Pipestem Dams by a combined 200 cubic feet per second per day as the cities of Jamestown and LaMoure prepare for the higher flows.

Releases remain steady at Jamestown, Pipestem Dams
Updated forecasts have indicated the river downstream of Jamestown and Pipestem Dams should not see significant ice formation for at least another week. To release as much flood storage as possible, combined releases will be held at 1,400 cubic feet per second until three days before the new forecasted date for ice formation.
