YANKTON, SD – Crest Road, the road that crosses the Gavins Point Dam will be closed from 8 a.m. Wednesday July 15, 2015 through 5 p.m. Friday July 17, 2015.
This closure will include nighttime hours. The public is asked to plan on an alternate route of travel during this time.
The closure is a result of the inspection, repair and painting of the spillway gates. There will be periodic closures throughout duration of the construction, which will continue into the fall. People can stay informed about upcoming road closures by checking our web site,
