FORT PECK, Mont. -- The Natural Resource Office at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Fort Peck Project would like to remind visitors of the following regulations governing camping:
- Camping is permitted only at designated sites within recreation areas.
- Camping at one or more campsites in a recreation area for a period longer than 14 days during any consecutive 30-day period is prohibited.
- Camp sites must be occupied daily.
- The placement of camping equipment or other items on a campsite for the purpose of reserving that campsite for future occupancy is prohibited.
Recreation areas and facilities are available for all the public to enjoy. Unoccupied campsites are available on a first-come, first-serve basis, unless specifically reserved. Items left at sites unattended, including vehicles or campers, are subject to removal and impoundment at the owner’s expense.
