    Corps finalizes Papillion Creek and Tributaries Lakes, Nebraska flood risk management study with signing of Chief’s Report

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Commanding General and 55th U.S. Army Chief of Engineers, Lt. Gen. Scott Spellmon, signed the recommended plan Tuesday to implement flood risk management measures in the Papillion Creek Basin to help reduce flood and life safety risks. The signing of the Papillion Creek and Tributaries Lakes, Nebraska Chief’s Report moves the project forward to Congress for authorization and appropriation.
