    Corps awards contract on 3-mile setback for portion of Levee L-575

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District, awarded Tuesday a $12.9 million contract for the construction of a 3-mile setback of Missouri River Levee Unit L-575 north from Highway 2 opposite of Nebraska City, Neb.

    Corps office, Williston Levee to close for duration of repairs

    The Williston Resource Office and Williston Levee will close to public access for the duration of scheduled repairs to the flood control structure. The closures will take place on Tuesday, May 29, and remain in effect until the completion of the repair project – currently anticipated as Aug. 15.
