    Real estate division provides a doorway to serve the nation

    When men and women are interested in joining the Armed Forces, generally the first step in the process is visiting a local military career center or recruitment office. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ joint Recruiting Facilities Program, through its Real Estate Division, facilitates this process and provides effective and safe facilities through global lease agreements servicing the United States Army, Navy, Airforce, Marine Corps, Air Force Reserve, Army National Guard, and Air National Guard.

    USACE Omaha District completes new firing range at Minot Air Force Base, North Dakota

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District completed a new Indoor firing range at Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota this month. This $24.5 million project included demolition of the existing outdoor firing range, and new construction of a state-of-the-art combat arms training and maintenance facility with over three dozen indoor firing lanes. This new facility helps Minot’s airmen and women train in safer conditions and meet requirements to secure the Nation.

    USACE Omaha District receives distinguished honors at national awards ceremonies

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Headquarters hosted the 2021 National Awards Ceremony on Nov. 10 and the Small Business Awards ceremony on Nov. 17. During both of virtual events, the Omaha District received distinguished honors and was recognized alongside colleagues from across the organization by Lt. Gen. Scott A. Spellman, 55th Chief of Engineers and Commanding General.
