The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has formally reclassified Oahe Dam to Dam Safety Action Classification 1 — the highest risk tier in the USACE Dam Safety Program. There is no current emergency at the dam. No emergency response activities are behind engaged, and no operations changes are being made.
