    On Dec. 13, Operation Santa, comprised of volunteers from the Northwestern Division and Omaha District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers visited the Glenwood Resource Center in Glenwood, Iowa to deliver gifts and sing carols for patients, clients and staff. This has been an annual tradition for Corps employees for more than 50 years.

    Operation Santa brings gifts and music to special local groups

    On Dec. 13, volunteers from the Northwestern Division and Omaha District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers visited the Glenwood Resource Center in Glenwood, Iowa. The group came carrying presents for the patients and clients, sang carols and helped with a party for the participants. Volunteers, residents and the staff at Glenwood look forward to the annual get together.
  • Participants in the 2012 Omaha District Leadership Development Program graduated from their year long program in a ceremony held at University of Nebraska, Omaha's Mammel Hall on Dec. 10, 2012. The program is intended to develop leadership and management skills for current and future leaders.
