Summary: The proposed project involves improvements to areas north and south of Tom Hanafan Park in Council Bluffs, referred to as River’s Edge North and River’s Edge South, respectively, to improve public access to the Missouri River riverfront in Council Bluffs, to enhance the riverfront with a variety of active recreational spaces, and to create riverfront recreation that will draw people from western Iowa and eastern Nebraska.
Geographic Scope: Council Bluffs, Iowa along the Missouri River, north and south of I-480 Bridge
