USACE Omaha District has determined that the project would entail an alteration to the federal project, and therefore requires permission under Section 408. SDDOT proposes approximately 8 miles of road reconstruction on USACE Fee Title lands associated with the Oahe Dam & Reservoir Project, in Stanley County, South Dakota.

The project proposes construction of broadband cables underneath the Missouri River.
