Chittenden Melan Arch Bridge
The steel and concrete bridge Melan arch bridge over the Yellowstone River, above the Upper Falls. Chittenden led the project selecting its design because he felt its location merited an artistic design because of its prominent location in the Park. The bridge was known as the Chittenden Bridge until it was replaced with a more modern structure in 1963 named the Chittenden Memorial Bridge.
