Montana's T. rex found at Fort Peck goes on public display
Montana’s T.rex is the most completely mounted T.rex fossil, not a cast or a replica. The mount includes the animal’s belly ribs, also known as gastralia. Belly ribs apparently helped protect vital organs, and are found in all meat-eating dinosaurs, crocodilians, and some other reptiles.
