    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announced Tuesday plans to upgrade the Fort Peck Marina boat ramp.

A Power Plant maintenance project originally scheduled for June was rescheduled for late July. The project will require outages on Units 1, 2, and 3 to support testing on Unit 2.

    Due to health and safety precautions regarding COVID-19 (coronavirus), all U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - Omaha District Visitor Centers will be closed and all public group tours and events and have been cancelled until further notice.

    Recreationists accessing Fort Peck Lake, Montana, and the Dredge Cuts this winter are reminded that motorized vehicles are only permitted on developed access routes, such as public roads, numbered roads, boat ramps or designated ice access routes within U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Recreation Areas.
  • Access limited to Fort Peck spillway

    The Fort Peck, Montana, spillway can be accessed by boat from the Missouri River or by foot from the west side of the spillway (Missouri River upstream side). Due to erosion of CMR Road #361, the US Army Corps of Engineers has designated a parking area where the public can then walk into the spillway from the west.
