Lewis and Clark Visitor Center opens with modifications
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Lewis and Clark Visitor Center at Gavins Point Project will open Tuesday to visitors daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Lewis and Clark Visitor Center closed for tile installation but will be open through winter.
The Lewis and Clark Visitor Center, near Yankton, SD, will be closed from Monday, November 4 through Thursday, November 7 for the installation of new tile in the restrooms. The center, which is located on Nebraska Highway 121 near the Gavins Point Dam, will reopen on Friday, November 8.

The Lewis and Clark Visitor Center, near Yankton, South Dakota, will be closed on Tuesday, May 28, to remove a portion of an interior wall that sustained water damage.

Bald Eagle Days, a free public event sponsored by the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Gavins Point near Yankton, SD, will once again take place on Friday, January 26 through Sunday, January 28.

The Lewis and Clark Visitor Center near Yankton will close for the winter season effective Thursday, Nov. 9 at 3 p.m. The center will reopen in February 2018.

The Lewis and Clark Visitor Center, near Yankton, SD, will be closed from 1 – 5 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 28, 2017. This closure will include the parking lot and roadway in front of the center.

Senior Passes available at Lewis and Clark Visitor Center while supplies last
After a brief outage, the Lewis and Clark Visitor Center near Yankton, SD currently has America the Beautiful Senior Passes They will be sold during regular business hours of 9 a.m. through 5 p.m. daily, including weekends until supplies run out or until 5 p.m. on Sunday, August 27, 2017

The America the Beautiful Senior Passes are sold out at Gavins Point Project near Yankton, S.D. The Lewis and Clark Visitor Center is out of the passes, however, they are currently available at Cottonwood and Nebraska Tailwaters campgrounds.
