OMAHA, Neb.—The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District, completed emergency operations repairs at the water treatment plant in Pacific Junction/Glenwood, Iowa Tuesday, and continues to work toward securing funding and awarding contracts for levee repair work.
Also, the district continues to provide technical assistance to the City of Hamburg, Iowa to identify interim emergency protection measures that can be put in place to protect their city water plant and portions of their downtown area.

According the National Weather Service, a major Spring storm will continue heavy snow and blizzard conditions from the Dakotas to Minnesota Thursday into Friday. We remind everyone in the areas previously impacted by the recent runoff event to continue to exercise caution and to stay connected with local authorities, including emergency management resources.
