The applicant is proposing to permanently discharge fill material into 0.58-acres of wetlands and excavate 5.07-acres of wetlands in order to expand an existing aggregate mine. The project includes development of an aggregate mine, rerouting an existing swale, and installing two low-flow crossings within an existing swale. Based on the available information, the overall project purpose is to expand an existing aggregate mine in Summit, South Dakota. The applicant’s project purpose, as stated in the application, is to expand an existing aggregate mine to fulfill sand and gravel needs for regional construction projects.

    Ameristar Casino - The proposed project consists of maintenance dredging of the Ameristar boat slip and discharging the dredged material back into the Missouri River on a yearly basis or on an as needed basis. The total amount to be discharged into the Missouri River is 10,000 cubic yards and not to exceed 12,000 cubic yards per year. The material will be hydraulically dredged. The dredging activity was previously permitted, as described above, in September 2011 with a 10-year maintenance dredging permit. The applicant is requesting another 10-year maintenance dredging permit until September 2032.

The proposed project would impact wetlands adjacent to Nine-Mile Creek. This notice is to inform interested parties of the proposed activity and to solicit comments. The applicant is proposing to permanently discharge 14,714 cubic yards of earthen fill material into 1.19- acres of wetland located adjacent to Nine-Mile Creek. Based on the available information, the overall project purpose is to construct a 37-acre mixed residential and commercial development. The applicant’s project purpose, as stated in the application, is to “provide additional commercial land along arterial streets and multifamily housing units in the City of Tea, SD”.

This notice is to inform interested parties of the proposed activity and to solicit comments. The applicant is proposing to permanently discharge fill material into 0.33-acres of wetlands and 1.43-acres of Marne Creek in order to repair disaster-damaged infrastructure and reduce the potential for similar future damage in five reach locations adjacent to Marne Creek. Bank stabilization methods consist of bioengineering features, stacked gabions, and/or reinforcement mats. Several reaches would also include the reconstruction of the damaged Auld-Brokaw Trail.

This notice is to inform interested parties of the proposed activity and to solicit comments. The applicant is proposing to permanently discharge fill material into 4.61- acres of wetlands in order to construct Phase 2 of the Jefferson Heights Addition, a new residential and mixed-use development in northwest Sioux Falls. The proposed development would provide 7.01 acres of mixed-use development, including 2.16 miles of urban roadway. The development would provide 111 single-family residential lots, 38 twin-home lots, and 4 townhome lots. Construction would include grading operations, installation of private and public utilities, asphalt streets, concrete curb and gutter, and concrete sidewalks. The project site is located at Latitude 43.568808°, Longitude -96.799430°; Section 11, Township 101 North, Range 50 West, Minnehaha County, South Dakota.
