    Merkle Property Umbrella Bank Prospectus and Merkle Property Site Plan proposes to establish and operate an umbrella mitigation bank (Mitigation Site) in the lower Big Sioux River geographic service area. The proposed Mitigation Site is located on a 152-acre parcel of land owned by the Sponsor. If approved, the Sponsor would develop two discrete wetland mitigation banks within the overall Mitigation Site. Each wetland mitigation bank would be developed and operated independently of each other. The proposed Mitigation Site is in Section 8, Township 99 North, Range 50 West, Lincoln County, South Dakota.

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District, (USACE) is evaluating a request by Montana Aquatic Resources Services (MARS) to add an In-Lieu Fee (ILF) compensatory mitigation site to the Program’s Instrument, updated in May 2020. The Proposed Site Plan (Plan) is the first phase of mitigation site evaluation. It is intended to determine whether the site has enough potential to warrant development of a more detailed Draft Mitigation Site Plan. This notice is to inform interested parties of the proposed activity and to solicit comments. The proposed mitigation site would cover the Lower Missouri Watershed (#12).

    The MHFD proposes to stabilize and prevent further erosion of Big Dry Creek between Wadsworth Blvd and Westcliff Pkwy in Westminster, Colorado. The proposed project would permanently impact approximately 2,109 linear feet (0.718 acre) of Big Dry Creek and 0.788 acre of wetlands adjacent to Big Dry Creek. The project would temporarily impact 0.11 acre of open water and 0.54 acre of associated wetlands.
