USACE Omaha District has determined that the SD DOT Highway 44 (SD44) Platte-Winner Bridge Replacement (Bridge No. 12-085-080) would entail an alteration to the Federal Project, and therefore requires permission under Section 408. The proposed SD44 Bridge Replacement is located within Gregory and Charles Mix Counties of South Dakota. The bridge crosses over the Missouri River (Lake Francis Case reservoir) regulated by Fort Randall Dam. This notice is to inform interested parties of the proposed activity and to solicit comments.
