The District Engineer (Omaha) is evaluating a request by Slope County to reconstruct a mile of 68th Street SW, a mile of 128the Avenue SW, and flatten the curve where they intersect. The Gussey Road Drainage Improvement Project 23-01-181, would impact approximately 1.4 acres of Chanta Peta Creek and wetlands. On-site mitigation at a 1:1 ratio is proposed of offset impacts. The project is located in Sections 5, 6, 7, 8, 17 and 18, Township 134 North, Range 908 West and Sections 12 and 13, Township 134 North, Range 99 West, all in Slope County, North Dakota.
