The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District, (Corps) is evaluating a request by Montana Aquatic Resources Services (MARS) to add an In-Lieu Fee (ILF) compensatory mitigation site to the Program’s Instrument, updated in May 2020. The Proposed Site Plan (Plan) is the first phase of mitigation site evaluation. It is intended to determine whether the site has enough potential to warrant development of a more detailed Draft Mitigation Site plan. This
notice is to inform interested parties of the proposed activity and to solicit comments. The proposed mitigation site would cover the Flathead Watershed.
