USACE seeks public comment on Winnebago Tribe Broadband Fiber Optic Project
A proposed alteration of the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska/ Winnebago Tribe Broadband Fiber Optic Project, located on the Winnebago Reservation and in the adjacent communities of Emerson, Homer, and Wakefield in Thurston County, Nebraska, is currently available for public review and comment. The purpose of the project is to deploy a broadband infrastructure network to connect unserved/underserved tribal households, businesses, and community anchor institutions (i.e., schools, medical facilities) to reliable and affordable high-speed internet.

Public comment sought for City of Omaha's F Street Reconstruction Project
OMAHA, Neb. - The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District is soliciting comments from the public regarding the City of Omaha, F Street Reconstruction project. In compliance with USC Title 33, Chapter 9, Subchapter 1, Section 408, the City of Omaha Public Works (Requester) has requested permission from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) for an alteration at the Zorinsky Lake Project (Papillion Creek and Tributaries Lakes, Site 18) (Federal Project).

Corps announces fiscal year 2021 civil works' work plan; including $54M for repairs of Missouri River navigation channel
OMAHA, Neb. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announced its 2021 civil works' work plan, which provides funding for the Corps to address water resource issues across the nation. These work plans include approximately $54 million for the repair of several navigation structures along the Missouri River that were damaged from high water and flooding over the past three years.

President's Budget includes over $100 million for Omaha District civil works
The President’s Budget for Fiscal Year 2019 (FY 2019) requests $4.785 billion in gross discretionary funding for the civil works program of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. This includes approximately $107 million for civil works projects in the Omaha District which covers parts of Colorado, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming.
