The Fort Peck Interpretive Center is now open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Educational activities will begin Memorial Day weekend and continue each weekend through Labor Day. Power House tours are available by appointment only through May 25. Beginning Saturday, May 26, Power House tours will be offered daily starting at 9:30 a.m., with tours offered hourly on weekends and every other hour on weekdays. The Class A Downstream Campground is open. Water is on in the comfort station and both 30 and 50 amp electrical hookups are available. Campers are asked to pay with check or cash placed in envelopes at the campground entrance “honor box”. Camping fees are $14 for tent sites/non-electric; $18 for 30 amp service sites; $20 for 50 amp service sites. Gate Attendants will be available Memorial Day weekend. West End Campground will open May 24.
Camping reservations can be made online via www.Recreation.gov or by calling 1 (877) 444-6777. In addition, group use camping, Kiwanis Park picnic shelters, and West End shelters can be reserved. All sites are listed under Fort Peck, Downstream sites.
Recreationists are welcome to use the primitive camping and recreation areas which are open year-round, including Round House Point and Flood Plain downstream of the dam. Duck Creek, West End Recreation Area and Flat Lake camping areas are open above the dam. Latrines, picnic tables and fire rings are available at these sites.
Courtesy docks are now in place at all Corps of Engineers managed boat ramps, including Nelson Dredge, Roundhouse Point, Floodplain, Nelson Creek, Flat Lake, Pines, Bone Trail and Fourchette Bay. Fish cleaning stations at Pines, Duck Creek and near the Fort Peck Marina are open with Rock Creek cleaning stations scheduled to open within a week. If fish cleaning stations need attention during the summer, anglers are encouraged to call the number posted or the Interpretive Center to alert staff and speed response time.
The Army Corps of Engineers at Fort Peck would like to remind users of the following rules applicable everywhere at the Fort Peck Project:

Overnight occupancy is required.

Camping is limited to 14 days in a 30 day period.

Fireworks are prohibited on all Fort Peck Project Lands and Water.

Fires must be contained in established fire rings.

Burning of construction materials, including pallets is prohibited.

All motor vehicles, including ATVs, must be licensed and must stay on established, numbered roads.

Operation of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles/Drones is strictly prohibited on and over all Fort Peck Project Lands and Water
