Birds occupy at a backwater wetland area that was recently constructed as part of the Lower Brule Sioux Tribe natural resources preservation and ecosystem restoration project. The Tribal Partnership Program construction project was recently completed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and this first to be completed in the Nation. St. Vrain Creek Public Meeting
The Omaha District, in cooperation with the City of Longmont, held a public meeting on September 18, 2019 to seek input on the recommended plan to reduce flood risk along the St. Vrain Creek in Longmont, Colorado.
