A third public meeting has been scheduled to solicit comments on the Draft Environmental Impact Statement for the Lower Yellowstone Intake Diversion Dam Fish Passage Project. The draft EIS analyzes potential effects associated with the proposed action to improve fish passage for pallid sturgeon and other native fish at the Intake Diversion Dam, continue the viable and effective operation of the Lower Yellowstone Project, and contribute to ecosystem restoration. Comments on the draft EIS must be postmarked or received by July 18, 2016.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and Bureau of Reclamation have made available the draft Environmental Impact Statement for the Lower Yellowstone Intake Diversion Dam Fish Passage Project and have scheduled two public meetings in June to solicit comments on the draft EIS. The draft EIS analyzes the potential effects associated with the proposed action to improve fish passage for pallid sturgeon and other native fish at the Intake Diversion Dam, continue the viable and effective operation of the Lower Yellowstone Project, and contribute to ecosystem restoration. Comments must be postmarked or received by July 18, 2016.
